Collins requesting that premises described as : A part of the �lortheast Quarter (NE;) of the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section 17 , Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P .1��. , lying South of the Old Decatur to Springfield Hardroad (Old Route 36) more particularly described as Beginning at the point of intersection of the So utherly Right of Way line of the said H�yhway and the West line of the said Northeast Quart�r (�tEs) of the Northwest Quarter (NW�;) of Section 17 ; thence northeasterly along the said right of way line, a distance of 128 . 5 feet to a point; thence southerly parallel to the West line of the Northeast Quarter (NE�) of the Northwest Quarter (�]W;) of Section 17 , a distance of 120 .0 feet to a point; thence Southwesterly parallel to the said right of way 1ine , a distance of 128 .5 feet to a point on the said West l�r.e of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW�) of Section 17, a distance of 120 . 0 feet south of the point of beginning, thence north to the point of beginning. The tract containing 15000 square feet more or 1ess , be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by ail of the electors residing therein; and, ��TI�REAS , said terri�ory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village , Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice o� intzntion to take action on annexation of said terri�ory has beezgiven as provided by statute .
