Collins requesting that premises described as : A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE;) of the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section 17 , Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P .M. , lying South of the Old Decatur to Springfield Hardroad (Old Route 36) more particularly described as Beginning at the point of intersection of the Southerly Right of Way line of the said Highway and the West line of the said Northeast Quarter (�tE y) of the Northwest Quarter (NW�) of Section 17; thence northeast�rly along the said right of way line, a distance oi 128 . 5 feet to a point; thence southerly parallel tD the West line of the Northeast Quarter (NE�) of the Northwest Quarter (�]W;) , of Section 17 , a distance of 120 . 0 feet to a point; thence Soutnwesterly parallel to the said right of way line, a distance of 128 .5 fe�t to a point on tne said West 1-r.e of the Northeast Quarter (NEQ) of. Lhe Northwest Quarter (NWQ) of Section 17, a distance of 120 . 0 feet south of the point of beginning, thence north to the point of beginning. The tract containing 15000 square feet more or less , be annexed t� the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by �ffidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by ail of the ele�tors residing therein; and, �+7I�RF,�� , said terri�ory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is ao t a pa..rt of any City, Village , Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of int2ntion to take action on annexation of said terri�ory has beeigiven as provided by statute .
