��vnU�� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7 ��'�D <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - SILVER AND HIGHTIDE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected <br /> giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Silver Drive <br /> approaching Hightide Drive from the south shall stop and <br /> yield the right-of-way to vehicles on Hightide Drive which have <br /> entered the intersection of said streets or which are <br /> approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate <br /> hazard, but said driver having so stopped and yielded the <br /> right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval <br /> occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall , upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 .00) for each offense. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED .AND RECORDED this 22nd day <br /> of May, 1978. <br /> YOR r d--rt, ` <br /> �"I <br /> ATTEST: <br /> . � ' • <br /> CITY CLERK <br />
