" `� � ORDINANCE No. �s-39 °� MAR 2 31978 � r'�N ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY ENTIREL•YReoprd�d In Book-��p �6,�� SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATUR . � - � �ta�� Fe� 6�� C�Recorder of Deed3 WHEREAS, certain unincorporated territory described as follows : Lots 21, 29 , 43, 46 , 47 , 53 and 54 , and that area known as Oak Park, all as shown on the plat of Moses A. Nickey' s Shore Acres Addition as recorded in Book 300 Page 88 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, and all those parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed; is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of Decatur, I1linois; and, WHEREAS , such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and, WHEREAS , the Council finds that such territory should be anr.exed to said City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , notice of the contemplated annexation of said territory has been given as provided by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TFiE COUNCIL OF THr, CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said territory or premises above described be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and made a part of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat of said premises herein annexed is hereto attached and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
