�� � . , �:��f 1958 ��a��694 � •�� ' 1.(�42��8'7 � � � ORDINANCE NO. 78-38 r'" J • � AN ORDINANCE ANDtEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City � of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of James L. Williams, et al , requesting that premises described as : The Northwest Quarter (NW�) of the Northwest Quarter (NW�) of Section 27 , Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , situated in Macon County, Illinois, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all c�f the owners of recor� of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Iilinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intentian to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, IZLINOIS: Section I. That the said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacer.t thereto not heretofore annexec, if anv, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are i�:corporated into the limits of the City �f Decatur, , Illinvis , a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises _s attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3 .
