. � <br /> ,w ` �•Y•'V���,M� <br /> . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ��-3 � <br /> • AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of DECATUR PARK DISTRICT <br /> requesting the annexation to the City of Decatur, Illinois, of <br /> the premises described in Exhibit A,which exhibit is attached hereto <br /> and hereby made a part hereof; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed <br /> by all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no <br /> electors residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town <br /> or other municipality; and, <br /> WHERE1aS, notice of intention to take action on annexation <br /> of said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CQUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section Z. That the said territory hereinabove described <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto, not heretofore annExed, if any, be, and the s�.me are hereby <br /> annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and mace a Fart hereof. <br /> Section 3.
