�fl� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ��j <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - RICHMOND ROAD AND ORCHARD DRIVE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Richmond Road approaching <br /> Orchard Drive from either the north or south shall stop and yield the <br /> right-of-way to vehicles on Orchard Drive which have entered the <br /> intersection of said streets or which are approaching so closely thereto <br /> as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having so <br /> stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a <br /> safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each offense. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this �_�day of <br /> February, 1978 . <br /> MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> .1" ^ <br /> C CLE RK <br />
