� ' 91eCon COuniy ��` ,CertlfY <br /> - ��� � � 1CD3�38� °n�c �,S ��c�,��t �►a� ���a r� <br /> Reoord ��..a.C�.:.QQ A.M. � <br /> ;;� , y � � '�I� , <br /> r � ORDINANCE NO. 7g—��° . ..��1��� � c i�1� E► <br /> ,� � ` �orde� t� e�k�95� Pag�299 <br /> AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY <br /> — 100 BLOCK OF WEST NORTH STREET — �"`j�°�D��"'�+^�� <br /> F�P 1�•� C�Recorder of De�s <br /> WHEREAS , a petition has been received from Illinois Bell <br /> Telephone Company and Decatur Bell Employee' s Credit Union, <br /> the owners of all property abutting thereon, requesting the ����Of�L <br /> vacation by the City Council of an alley in the City of Decatur, M <br /> Illinois, described as : <br /> Beginning at the South west corner of Lot 6 in <br /> Block 1 of Trustees of the First Presbyterian Church <br /> of Decatur subdivision of Lot 3 in Block 1 of Cowan <br /> & Hostetler' s Addition to the City of Decatur, as <br /> per Plat recorded in Book 145 Page 581 of the records <br /> in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , <br /> thence North 80 feet; thence WeSt 16 feet; thence <br /> South 80 feet to the North line of West North Street; <br /> thence East 16 feet to the point of beginning; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS , said petition was referred to, and a public hearing <br /> thereon was held by, the City Plan Commission, which Commission did <br /> recommend that the pray�r of said petition be granted; and, <br /> WHEREAS , said alley is no longer useful to the public or to <br /> the City or ta the owners of the property abutting thereon ,�.�: �n <br /> ailey, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said <br /> alley and the public will be relieved from the further burden and <br /> responsibility of maintaining the same. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. Thatthe above described alley be, and the same . <br /> is hereby, vacated as a public alley effective and upon the exceptions <br /> and conditions hereinafter provided, inasmuch as the same is no <br /> longer required for public use and the public interest will be <br /> subserved by such vacation, said alley being shown on the plat thereof <br /> hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2.
