. ��aFIIMED ' ° ORDINANCE NO. ��2� ` , . � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of Mt. Zion State Bank requesting that premises described as : Beginning at a point on the East line of the Southwest ; of the Southwest 4 of Section Nine Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Three (3) East of the 3rd P .M. , 288 .42 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Southwest 4, Southwest 4; thence Northerly along said East line a distance of 35 .15 feet to the South right-of-way line of F.A.S. Route 540 (Illinois Route 105) thence North 79°13 ' 25" West, along said South right-of-way line, a distance of 137. 77 feet, thence North 87°19 ' 13" West along said South right-of-way line, a distance of 128 . 55 feet; thence North 59°09 ' 38" West, along said South right-of-way line, a distance of 322 .98 feet; thence South 86°22 ' 31" West a distance of 99 . 97 feet; thence South 3°55 ' 26" East a distance of 496 .25 feet to a point 30 . 00 feet North of the South line of said Sectior� 9 ; thence North 88°39 ' 07" East a distance of 346 .03 feet; thence North 0°39 ' 14" West a distance of 257. 57 feet thence North 89 °17 ' 37" East a distance of 263. 06 feet to the point of beginning, containing 3.93 acres , more or less. Situated in PZacon County, Illinois; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto, not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
