� � � �� - ��,�u . . .. � ORDINANCE No. - a�i AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of November, 1977 , upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of J. WILLIAM MAVIS and THOMAS E . SWARTZ to rezone premises described as : A part of the NW 4 �of NW ; of Section 34 in T17 N, R2E of the 3rd PM except the East 15 acres thereof described as follows : Beginning at a point on the north line of the NH1 a of the NW � of said Section 34 , 320 feet West of the Northwest corner of the East 15 acres of �__ the NW 4 of the NW ; of said Section 34 ; thence SoutY. 300 feet parallel with the West line of the East 15 acres of the NW 4 of the NW 4 of said Section 34 ; thence deflecting to the left 67° 53 ' for 237 .5 feet, more or less, to a point 100 feet Westerly of, when measured at right angles to the West line of the East 15 acres of the 1VW a of the NW a of said Section 34 ; thence South parallel with the West line of the East 15 acres of the NW 4 of the NW � of said Section 34 , to the South line of the NW ; of the NW 4 of said Section 34 ; thence East along the South line of the NW 4 of i�nl 4 of said Section 34 to the Southwest corner of the East 15 acres of the NW a of the NW � of said Section 34 ; thence North along the West line of the NW ; of the NW ; of said Section 34 to the North line of the NW ; of the NW � of said Section 34 ; thence Westerly 320 feet to the point of beginning; except therefrom the right-of-way for West Mound Road; from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-3 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT; and, WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted. NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF - DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section l . That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved.
