' <br /> � ORDINANCE NO. -/$� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS , therehas been filed with the City Clerk of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois the sworn petition of John N. Svendsen requesting <br /> that premises described as : <br /> Lot Nineteen (19) of Moses A. Nickey' s Shore <br /> Acres Addition to the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 88 of the <br /> records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon <br /> County, Illinois <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed <br /> by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the <br /> electors residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois , and is not part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, <br /> or other Municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of <br /> said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto <br /> not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed <br /> to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois , a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this <br /> ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded <br /> by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this �day of <br /> October , 1977. <br /> YOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> , C Y CLE RK <br />
