s Y V s " ORDINANCE No. -/l� , .�IICROfILMEp AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY WHEREAS , on the lst day of September, 1977, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of CHARLES CHERCHES to rezone premises described as : Tract 1. The West One-Half (W 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 5 , Township 16 , North Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M. , except the South 130 , feet thereof, and also except the East 575 feet thereof, and Tract 2. Lot 6 of Clark ' s Subdivision as per plat recorded at Book 300 page 72 of the reccrds in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , except the South 500 feet of the West 277. 68 feet thereof, and, Tract 3. Beginning at a point on the South line of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 5 , Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M. 150 feet East of the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) ; thence North along the West line of Faries Park, 1,271. 09 feet; thence West parallel with the South right of way line of Brenneman Road 58 .4 fe�t; thence North 337. 72 feet to said south right of way line of said road; thence Westerly along the South right of way line of said road to the West line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) ; thence South along the West line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) to the South right of way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad as the same existed immediately prior to October 5 , 1976; thence , Southeasterly along said South right of way line of said railroad to the South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) ; thence, East along said South line to the point of beginning; and All of that part of the East 850 feet of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 5 , Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M. lying between the South right of way line of Brenneman Road and . the South right of way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad where said line existed immediately prior to October 5 , 1976; from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-2 HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT; and, WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted.
