' � � . 103116� �='��'�.�� ;E��0 , „ `' J , � ' ORDINANCE N0. ��-163 t � AN ORDINAPdCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of BOBBY 0. LEWALLEN, et al requesting that premises described as : All of Lot 'I'�ao (2) of SE�, SW;, Section 21 ` To�enship 16 Pdorth, Range 2 E�st , as per Plat . recorded in Book 335 Page 391 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, lying South of State Bond Issue Road Route No. 48 , except the South 2 Acres thereof, � be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is � signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village , Incorporated Town, or other municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THERErORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY � OF DECATUR, ILLIPIOIS : Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent , thereto, not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, I a;an�xed to ar.d are incorporated into the limits of the City of De�atur, I1Z�no�s, a municipal ��rporatioa. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
