SNYDER to rezone premis2s described as : <br /> Lot Eight (8) of Frank Snyder 's Second Subdivision, as <br /> per Plat recorded in Book 958, Page 85 of the records of the <br /> Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, EXCEPT a tract <br />� beginning at a point 169 feet West of the Southeast corner <br /> of said Lot Eight (8) ; thence West 17I feet; thence North <br /> 210 feet; thence East 171 feet; thence South 210 feet to the <br /> place of beginning. <br /> Also excepting a part of the SW 1/4 , Sec. 35 , T17N, R2E <br /> of the 3rd PM, more particularly described as follows : <br /> Beginning at a point on the North Right-of-Way line of <br /> Pershing Road, 44 . 4 ff.. North of and 170 . 5 ft. East <br /> of the SW corner of the SE 1/4 , SW 1/4 , said Section 35; <br /> thence N. 1°19 ' 58" E. , 210 ft; thence S. 89°59 ' 58" W. , <br /> 189 . 27 feet to the East Right-of-Way line of Broadway <br /> Avenue; thence Southerly along said Right-af-Way lin� <br /> 117. 56 feet along a curve to the left, having a <br /> ra�dius of 5689 .58 feet; thence Southerly 2 . 29 feet <br /> along a line tangent to said curve; thence along a curve to the <br /> left having a radius of 170 feet, an arc length of 47. 72 <br /> feet; thence along a curve to the left having a radius <br /> of 55 feet; an arc length of 56 . 31 feet; thence along <br /> a curve to the left having a radius of 170 feet, an <br /> arc length of 21 .58 feet to the Northerly Right-of-Way line <br /> of East Pershing Road; thence N. 90° E. , 123. 7 feet along <br /> said Right-of-Way line to the Point of Beginning, <br /> containing 38 ,889 sq. ft. , more or less . <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS , the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That the recommendation of the Decatur City <br /> Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br />
