_ -.�� :.��` -� . �ICROFlL.IVIED y ORDINANCE NO. ��- /�� ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND WAGES AND MODIFYING CERTAIN CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT IN THE FIRE SERVICE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That until the further order of the Council and effective as of, and retroactive to May 1, 1977 , and subject to applicable provisions of ordinance or administrative order not inconsistent herewith those positions assigned by ordinance or administrative order to pay grades in the sworn classified fire service , be , and they are hereby, authorized to have attached thereto, and employees occupying said positions on September 1, 1977, be, and they are hereby, authorized to be paid the respective salary or wage set out for each such grade in Exhibit A hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. Section 2 . That until the further order of the Council, effective in time and subject to the same limitations and applica- tion as aforesaid, the amount of $6. 00 each bi-weekly pay period be, and it is hereby, authorized to be paid on behalf of each of said employees participating in the dependent coverage portion of the medical , major medical and hospital group insurance plan of the fire service, but only during such participation. Section 3. That the heretofore existing authorization for payment of overtime pay be, and the same is hereby, continued in full force and effect, except that the limitation to straight time for the first two hours of non-emergency hold-over be, and said limitation is hereby, repealed, and except further that hours of duty limitations and overtime pay authorizations shall not attach to the position of Battalion Chief, which said position be, and the same is hereby, exempted therefrom.
