. � <br /> '� `- ' ' � �MI(�?Of�LMED <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ��� I 3 Co <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS . <br /> WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of Hunter Construction of <br /> Decatur, Inc. requesting that premises described as : <br /> Lot Sixteen (16) of Cresthaven Addition of Outlots <br /> to the City of Decatur, Illinois as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 300 Page 228 of the Records in <br /> the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by <br /> all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no <br /> electors residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois , ai�.d is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, <br /> or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice af intention to take action on annexation of <br /> said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto, not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, <br /> annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
