' <br /> • - <br /> -2- - <br /> In support of this petition does show to the City Council the <br /> following facts : . <br /> The present drive-in faeilities of Soy Capital Bank are bei.ng taxed <br /> to their maximum. Beyond that, the equipment will need to be replaced <br /> soon because of its age. The drive-ins located in their present location <br /> create a certain traffic problem on peak days with a stackup of automobiles <br /> on Fldorado Street. We have determ;.ned that the most logical solution <br /> is to put our drive-in services on the property for which we are req�resting <br /> rezoning to eliminate the problem mentioned. I think it has to be agreed <br /> that our b ank has made every effort to be a good neighbor to the residents <br /> af the area that we serve. Evidence of this , among other things, is the <br /> fact that we have spent thousands of dollars to erect a brick wa11 that <br /> encompasses our property, the main purpose of which is the esthetic value <br /> to the neighborhood. A favorable ruling to our request for rezoning would <br /> result in an improvement to the traffic problem and should have no adverse <br /> effect on the residential neighborhood in the immediate vicinity. In the <br /> ad�acent block west, the zoning is B2 and, within one block south, there <br /> is also B2 zoning. <br /> Signed <br /> � <br />
