- 2 - <br /> WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed <br /> by all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no <br /> electors residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated <br /> Town, or other murricipality;and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation <br /> of said territory has been given as provided by statute . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto, not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby <br /> annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed prem�ses is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
