� � � �n �� .�� ,��F�.35 r � 25��'7 ,� � � ORDINANCE NO. 77-111 1 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of James P. 0 'Brien and Donna J. 0'Brien requesting that premises described as : Lot Fifteen `(15) of Cresthaven Addition of Outlots, as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 228 of theRecords in the Recorder' s Office of �Macon County, Illinois � be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of ,the owners of record of said premises and that there are no electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF �ECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto, not heretofore annexed, �f any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said anr_exed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and reco�ded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
