y . <br /> . �. �- : <br /> r • ORDINANCE NO. �-�0 C�' "`�,�"Q�i/ <br /> �� <br /> AN ORDINANCE AIVNEXING TERRITORY ENTIRELY <br /> SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATUR <br /> WHEREAS, certain unincorporated territory described as <br /> follows : <br /> All parts of any highway within or adjacent thereto, and <br /> All of Lot 10 of Indian Springs First Addition as recorded <br /> in Book 300 page 190 of the records in the Recorder' s Office <br /> of Macon County, Illinois; <br /> And also, Lots 7, 8, 10 , 11 and 15 of Indian Springs Second <br /> Addition as recorded in Book 300 page 236 of the records in <br /> the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois; <br /> is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in <br /> area; and, <br /> WHEREAS , the Council finds that such territory should be <br /> annexed to the said City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the contemplated annexation of said <br /> territory has been given as provided by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR.DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That said territory or premises above described, <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and <br /> adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same <br /> are hereby, annexed to and made a part of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2. That a plat of said premises herein annexed is <br /> hereto attached and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
