( / � �--3 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of June, 1977, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of CHARLES W. CHERCHES , Director of the Department of Community Development,to rezone premises described as : Lots Thirty-nine (39) , Forty (40) and Forty-one (41) of Fairground Home Sites , an Addition of Out- lots to the City of Decatur, Illinois , as per Plat recorded in Book 802 , Page 112 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, and A part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section Eighteen (18) , Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. , more particularly described as follows : Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot Forty (40) of Fairground Homes Sites , an Addition of Outlots to the City of Decatur, Illinois , as per Plat recorded in Book 802 , Page 112 of the Records � in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, thence North along the East line of Lots Thirty- nine (39) and Forty (40) of said Addition to the Northeast Corner of said Lot Thirty-nine (39) , thence North 89° 06 ' 18" East 161.1 Feet, thence South 286. 3 feet to a point on the North right of way line of S .B. I . Route IO (Decatur to Spring- field Road) , a distance of 161. 9 feet Northeasterly of said Southeast Corner of said Lot Forty (40) , thence Southwesterly along said North right of way line to said Southeast Corner on said Lot Fo rty (4 0) ; from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT: and, � WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OF�DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
