( / � �--3 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of June, 1977, upon due notice, <br /> the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the <br /> petition of CHARLES W. CHERCHES , Director of the Department of <br /> Community Development,to rezone premises described as : <br /> Lots Thirty-nine (39) , Forty (40) and Forty-one <br /> (41) of Fairground Home Sites , an Addition of Out- <br /> lots to the City of Decatur, Illinois , as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 802 , Page 112 of the records in the <br /> Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, and <br /> A part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter <br /> of Section Eighteen (18) , Township Sixteen (16) <br /> North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. , more <br /> particularly described as follows : Commencing <br /> at the Southeast corner of Lot Forty (40) of <br /> Fairground Homes Sites , an Addition of Outlots <br /> to the City of Decatur, Illinois , as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 802 , Page 112 of the Records <br /> � in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, <br /> thence North along the East line of Lots Thirty- <br /> nine (39) and Forty (40) of said Addition to the <br /> Northeast Corner of said Lot Thirty-nine (39) , <br /> thence North 89° 06 ' 18" East 161.1 Feet, thence <br /> South 286. 3 feet to a point on the North right <br /> of way line of S .B. I . Route IO (Decatur to Spring- <br /> field Road) , a distance of 161. 9 feet Northeasterly <br /> of said Southeast Corner of said Lot Forty (40) , <br /> thence Southwesterly along said North right of <br /> way line to said Southeast Corner on said Lot <br /> Fo rty (4 0) ; <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br /> DISTRICT: and, � <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OF�DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City <br /> Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are <br /> hereby, rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 <br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. <br />
