� � } � , � � ����+AED <br /> a , , ORDINANCE NO.� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of Ronald Trimby and Bonnie Trimby <br /> requesting that premises described as : <br /> The North 3S0 feet of the East 437 . 6 feet of the <br /> South 676 feet of the South West ; of the North West <br /> 4 of Section Four (4) Township Sixteen (16) North, <br /> Range, Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. Except beginning <br /> at the North West Corner of the above described tract, <br /> thence East 237. 6 feet, thence South 225 feet, thence <br /> West 237. 6 feet, thence North 225 feet to the place <br /> of beginning, all in Macon County, Illinois, <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed <br /> by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors <br /> residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, <br /> or other Municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said <br /> territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described <br /> along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, <br /> annexed to and is incorporated into the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois , a muncipal corporation. <br /> Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> 'hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
