Meters in <br /> services larger than one inch shall be tested, repaired or replaced <br /> in accordance with rules and regulations promulgated by the City <br /> Manager. Said rules may provide for the frequency of testing or <br /> inspection and the manner thereof; the cost or expense of or <br /> charges for testing, inspection, repair or replacement and the <br /> allocation thereof, the place of such operations and the responsi- <br /> bility for production of ineters thereat, or of testing or repair <br /> equipment at meter sites; the limitation of the makes of ineters to <br /> specific manufacturer, not less than two, which may be placed in <br /> service; the establishment of reasonable time limits for, and pro- <br /> cedures to, carry out the mechanics of such testing, inspection, <br /> repair dnd replacement and the administration thereof. <br /> 5. A water service line shall consist of the necessary tap, <br /> pipe . stop boxes , test plugs , stop cocks , hydrants , by-passes, <br /> meters , fixtures and appurtenances between the City water main and <br /> the discharge side of the water meter. The water service line shall <br /> be originally supplied by the owner of the property served thereby. <br /> The City shall maintain and keep in repair domestic water service <br /> lines from the main to the discharge side of the curb stop.
