� � _ - + . 10215'78 �oa��,9�6 ��E 61 _ S _\ � ORDINANCE NO• 77-72 �`i J � AN ORDIVANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of SELMA W. SPALDTNG, JR. , AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as : Lots 9 and 10 of the New Country Club Place, as per Plat recorded in Book 683 , page 308 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , situated in the County of Macon and State of Illinois , and all parts of all public high�vays included therein, or next and adjacent thereto , if any, be �.nnexed to the City of Decatur, Il.linois; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the cwners af record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, i+T'dEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois , and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Tcwn, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, B� IT ORDAINED BY THE �.OUNCIL O£ TIiE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated ir.to the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded . by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
