<br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE � �.

<br /> WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City ' Clerk of the City of
<br /> Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of ROBERT L. LOGAN AND OTHERS
<br /> requesting that premises described as :
<br /> Lot Eleven (11) of Moses A. Nickey' s Shores Acres Addition
<br /> to the City of Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 300
<br /> page 88 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon -
<br /> County, Illinois ;
<br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, 311inois ; and,
<br /> - WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by
<br /> all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no
<br /> electors residing therein; and, '
<br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of ,Decatur,
<br /> Illinois , and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Tawn,
<br /> or other biunicipality; and, `
<br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on arinexation of
<br /> said territory has been given as ,provided by statute.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> ri�ATUR, ILLINOIS :
<br /> Section l. That the said territory hereinabove descrii�ed along
<br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto
<br /> not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed
<br /> to and is incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois ,
<br /> a municipal corporation.
<br /> . Sectior_ 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached
<br /> hereto and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this
<br /> ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded
<br /> by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
