ORDINANCE NO. -�`�` o M�CROFIL�MED ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING LAND AC4UISITION NORTH WOODFORD IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, the Council has heretofore by Resolution No . R 77-30 adopted March 14 , 1977, approved and adopted plans and specifications for the improvement of North Woodford Street in the City, and has authorized construction of such improvements to be designated City Project No. 7311; and . WHEREAS, it is necessary that additional lands and rights in land be acquired to construct said improvements as heretofore so authorized and approved, either by voluntary agreement or by the exercise of the power of eminent domain as the City has been authoriz- ed by the provisions of Illinois Revised Statutes 1975 , Chapter 24 , Paragraph 11-61-1 et seq. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Sectivn 1. That it _be, and it is hereby, determined to be necessary and desirable that the City of Decatur, Illinois , in order to carry out and construct the improvement of North Woodford Street as heretofore approved and authorized, as aforesaid, acquire title and possession of the following described real property situated in the County of Macon, Illinois : Parcel No. 4 & 5 Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot One (1) of Frank R. Snyder' s First Subdivision, as per P1at recorded in Book 958 Page 91 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, 40 feet East' of the West line of Section 36 , Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; thence , South parallel with said West line of said Section 36 to the South line of Lot Four (4) of said Subdivision; thence, West 10 feet to the East line of North Woodford Street; thence, North along the East line of North Woodford Street 264 feet to the North line of said Lot One (1) ; thence East to the point of beginning. Parcel 9 Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot Eight (8) of Frank R. Snyder' s First Subdivision, as per Plat recorded at Book 958 Page 91 of the Records in the Recoerder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , 45 . 6 feet East of the West line of . Section 36 , Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P .M. ; thence, Southeasterly to a point on the South line of said
