� 1 • � <br /> � � MICROFIIMED <br /> ORDINANCE N0. / � y � <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TWO-HOUR METERED ZONES <br /> WASHINGTON STREET <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATURp ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That in accordance with and subject to the <br /> applicable provisions of Chapter 30 of the City Co�e, when <br /> appropriate parking meters are installed thereat, vehicle <br /> parking on the south side of Washington Street between Main <br /> and Church Streets be permitted and sha11 be limited to a <br /> contin�aous maximum period of two hours , and said portion of <br /> said Washington Street be, and the same is hereby, designated <br /> as a two-hour parking meter zone. <br /> Section 2. That parking meters shall be installed in <br /> said zone which shall register not to exceed two hours from <br /> the insertion of the appropriate coins at the rate of one- <br /> half hour for each nickel, one hour for eacn dime, and two <br /> hours for each quarter of coin of the United States of <br /> America. <br /> Section 3. That said meter shall be used and said <br /> maximum time limit shall be observed between t�.e hours of <br /> 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. , Tuesday, Wednesday, ��r�aay and <br /> Saturday of each week and the hours of 8 :00 A.M. �.nd 9:Q� <br /> P.M. on Monday and Friday of each week, except upon thcse <br /> holidays specified in C�hapter 30 of the City Code. <br /> Section 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances <br /> insofar as the same conflict with the provisions hereof, be <br /> and the same are hereby, modified and amended so as to accord <br /> and comply with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />
