� 1 • � � � MICROFIIMED ORDINANCE N0. / � y � ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TWO-HOUR METERED ZONES WASHINGTON STREET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATURp ILLINOIS: Section 1. That in accordance with and subject to the applicable provisions of Chapter 30 of the City Co�e, when appropriate parking meters are installed thereat, vehicle parking on the south side of Washington Street between Main and Church Streets be permitted and sha11 be limited to a contin�aous maximum period of two hours , and said portion of said Washington Street be, and the same is hereby, designated as a two-hour parking meter zone. Section 2. That parking meters shall be installed in said zone which shall register not to exceed two hours from the insertion of the appropriate coins at the rate of one- half hour for each nickel, one hour for eacn dime, and two hours for each quarter of coin of the United States of America. Section 3. That said meter shall be used and said maximum time limit shall be observed between t�.e hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. , Tuesday, Wednesday, ��r�aay and Saturday of each week and the hours of 8 :00 A.M. �.nd 9:Q� P.M. on Monday and Friday of each week, except upon thcse holidays specified in C�hapter 30 of the City Code. Section 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances insofar as the same conflict with the provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby, modified and amended so as to accord and comply with the provisions of this ordinance.
