Snyder' s lst Addition, <br /> as per Plat recorded in Book 958 , Page 91 of the Records <br /> in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , and <br /> also the East 1060 feet of the Southeast � of the North- <br /> east 4 of Section 35-17-2 East of the 3rd P.M. , except <br /> the South 100 feet; ' <br /> is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS , such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in area; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS , the Council finds that such territory should be annexed <br /> to the said City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the contemplated annexation of said territory <br /> has been given as provided by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said territory or premises above-described <br /> be, and the same are hereby , annexed to and made a part of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2. That a plat of said premises herein annexed is <br /> hereto attached and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3 .
