� - - _ ,°�.,� � �.�. , E �� � , .. j ��.��J� :5' J _ ' ORDINANCE N0. 77-37 1-«�-�'�� � , �J AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY ENTIRELY SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATUR WHEREAS , certain unincorporated territory described as follows : Lots 5 , 6 , 7 , 9 , and 10 of Frank R. Snyder' s lst Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 958 , Page 91 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , and also the East 1060 feet of the Southeast � of the North- east ; of Section 35-17-2 East of the 3rd P.M. , except the South 100 feet; is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and, WHEREAS , the Council finds that such territory should be annexed to the said City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , notice of the contemplated annexation ef said territory has been given as provided by law. NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLIN�JIS : Section l . That said territory or premises above-described be, and the same are hereby , annexed to and made a part �f the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat of said premises herein annexed is hereto attacY�.ed and made a part hereof. Section 3 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
