AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE �.� CITY OF DEC:ATUR, ILLINOIS �"-""- T� ��''"�� F�- 8'�� Recorder of Des� WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of TAYLOR PHARMACAL COMPANY and TABOR GRAIN C0. requesting that premises described as set out in Exhibit A hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and that there are no electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed to this or another municipality, if any, be , and the same are hereby, annexed to and is incorporated into the Iimits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
