<br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY ENTIRELY �'--- T/ •�!� �
<br /> SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATU�ee 6,00 pdR��ro��
<br /> WHEREAS , certain unincorporated territory described as
<br /> follows :
<br /> Lot 1 except the North 266 . 38 • feet and Lots 2 , 3 ,
<br /> 4 , 5 and the North Z of Lot 6 of Northside Ad�ition,
<br /> as per Plat recorded in Book 335 , Page 183 of the
<br /> Records in the Recorder ' s Office of Macon County,
<br /> Illinois ;
<br /> is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City
<br /> of Decatur, Illinois ; and,
<br /> WHEREAS , such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in
<br /> area; and,
<br /> WHEREAS , the Council finds that such territory should be
<br /> anr�exed to the said City of Decatur, Illinois ; and,
<br /> WHEREAS , notice of the contemplated annexation of said
<br /> territory has been given as provided by law.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS :
<br /> Section 1 . That said territory or nremises above described
<br /> be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and made a part of the
<br /> City of �ecatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation.
<br /> Section 2 . That a glat of said premises herein annexed is
<br /> hereto attached and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of
<br /> this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and
<br /> recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
