<br /> (� R6COfd�f CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS

<br /> � WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
<br /> �%1 of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of MICHAEL E. MAYFIELD AND
<br /> � OTHERS requesting that premises described as :
<br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 11 of Assessor's Sub-
<br /> division of the East half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9,
<br /> Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the Thi�l P.M. , as per Plat re-
<br /> corded in Book 22, Page 148 of the Records in the Reoorder's Office
<br /> of Macon Coimty, Illinois, thence North 60 feet, thence West 180
<br /> feet, thence South 60 feet to the South line of said Lot 11, thence
<br /> East 180 feet to the point of beg�nning,
<br /> BegirLn�ng at a point 60 feet North fr�n the Southeast corner ,
<br /> of Lot 11 of Assessor's Subdivision of the East half of the South-
<br /> west Qu�rter of Section 9, Township 16 North, Ran3e 3 East of the
<br /> 3rd P.M. , as per Plat recorded in Book 22, Page 1�8 of the l�cords
<br /> in the l�corder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, thence West 180
<br /> feet, thence North 80 feet, thence East 180 fee� to the East line
<br /> of said Ir�t 11, thence South 80 feet to the point of beginning;
<br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed
<br /> by all of the owners of record of said premis�s and by all of the electors
<br /> residing therein; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur,
<br /> Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town,
<br /> or other Municipality; and,
<br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action an annexation of said
<br /> territory has been given as provided by statute.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TE:E COtJY�tCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS :
<br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be,
<br /> and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hsreby, incorporated into
<br /> the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal. corporation.
<br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attache3
<br /> hereto and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this
<br /> ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded
<br /> by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
