MEARS AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as : Beginning at the intersection of the South right of way line of the Decatur and Springfield Rcad (U. S. Rr�ute 36) and the FX:st line of Hill Crest Blvd. extended South across the said Decatur and Spr:ingfield Finad; said intersection located 33' at right angles to the centrer line of the existing o�ncrete slab and 723.42' Northeasterly measured along the South right of way line of said Decatur and Springfield I�ad fr�an the West line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 17, T16N, R2E of the 3rd P.M. , thence South along tt� East line of said Hill Crest Blvd. ext�nded Soutn 145' , thence P3artheasterly parallel to the South right of way line of said Decatur and Spyingfield Road 150' , thence North parallel t,� the East lin.e of Hill Crest Blvu. ek-ter.ded South 145' to the South right of way line of said �ecatur and S�,aringfie?d Road, thence Sout-hw�sterly along the South right of way line of said Decatvr and Springfield Road 150' ta the point of beginn.ing, along ' wit'� all that part of any public highways wit�'vn said descri.bed premises, or lying i�iately next and adjacent tt:ereto, if any, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WIiEREAS , it is shown by affidavit tha� said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois , and is nat a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS , n�tice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, �HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNC�L OF TFiE CITY OF DECATUR, ZLLINOIS : Section 1. That the said territory herein�bove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
