� �� <br /> paid� shall be higher specified herein for the several sizes or types <br /> propulsion. <br /> 17.4. Licenses and permits shall be evidenced by such tags , <br /> tickets , plates , decals , stickers or other such devices as may be <br /> determined by the Departments concerned therewith, shall be furnished <br /> by the City and shall be so affixed to and continuously displayed on the <br /> subject boat or craft for the time the same is currently in effect as <br /> may be directed by the Chief of Police. <br /> 17.5 . A boat or craft may be kept or used on or in the Lake with- <br /> out license or registration for a continuous period not to exceed 7 days <br /> if a temporary permit is issued therefor and is displayed thereon, <br /> which said permits may be issued upon payment accompanying the applica- <br /> tion of $5 . 00 for each boat or craft for each respective period, or <br /> upon application without fee if said temporary permit issues for use <br /> of said craft in connection with an invitational race or regatta sponsored <br /> by a recognized boating association. <br /> 17. 6 . A boat or craft may be kept or used on or in the Lake with- <br /> out registration if the same is owned by a boat dealer licensed by the <br /> State and is used for business purposes and said dealer obtains a City <br /> license upon application accompanied by a fee of $35. 00 for not to exceed <br /> four units. <br /> 17. 7. Boat registration numbers shall remain with the boat upon <br /> transfer of title thereto, however, licenses shall remain with the <br /> licensee and may be transferred to another boat owned by said licensee <br /> upon application accompanied by a transfer fee of $2. 00 and by the <br /> difference between the required fee for the classification of the boat <br /> to which transferred, if greater than the fee theretofore paid, and by <br /> the instrument from the boat theretofore licensed evidencing licensing <br />
