�-� �� ' . a � sc��s�z� ��K�895 F�AGE 6� ��`�,.� ' ORDINANCE N0. 7189 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City cf Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of GEORGE V. MORAN AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as : Lot Twenty-eight (28) of Prairie Dell Addition to the City oi Decatur, Illinois , as per plat recorded in Book 300 Page 210 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , and all parts of all public highways included therein, or next and adjacent thereto , if any, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, W�iEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois , and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said ' terr�.tory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section l . That the said territory hereinabove described be , and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby , incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, 111inois , a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies oi this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County , Illinois .
