F�--B'�� g Recprder of Desds -..____.. WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of JOHN F. SNYDER AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as : I�t Eight (8) of Frank Snyders Second Subdivision, as per plat recorded ' I Book 958 page 85 of the records of the Re�order's Office of Macon County, Illinois except a tract beginning at a point 169 feet West of the Southeast corner of sai Lot Eight (8) ; thence West 171 feet; thence North 210 feet; thence East 171 feet; ence South 210 feet to the place of beginning. Also, except a tract zoned B-2ldescribed as follows: beginning at a point on the North Rightrof-Way line of Pershi�g Road 44.4 feet North of and 170.5 feet East of the Southwest corner of the South.east 1/4, Southwest 1/4 of said Section 35; thence North 1°19'58" East, 210 fe�t; thence South 89°59'S8" West, 189.27 feet to the East Right-of-Way line.of Broadway Avenue; thence Southerly along said Rightrof-Way line 117.56 feet along a curve to the left, having a radius of 5689.58 feet; thence Southerly 2.29 feet along a line tangent to sai.d curve; thence along a curve to the left ha.ving a radius of 170 feet, an arc length of 47_.72 feet; thence along a cl� to the left having a radius of 55 feet, an arc length of 56.31 feet; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 170 feet, an arc length of 21.58 feet to the Northerly Right-of-Way line of East Persha.ng Rc�ad; thence North 90° East, 123.7 feet along said Right-of-Way line to the point of beg�nn;ng, along with all that part of any public highways within said descri.bed premi.ses, or lying i�diately next and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, I WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition '�s signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of �ecatur, Illinois , and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporatec� Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby , annexed to and is hereby , incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corpqration. Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is a tached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3.
