KNUTZEN AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as : Lot Sixty-Nine (69) of Ellendale Addition, as per Plat recorded at Book 646 Page 278 of the Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , and all parts of all public highways included therein, or next and adjacent thereto, if any, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois , and is not a part of any City, Village , Incorporated Town, or other Municipaltiy; and, WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'1' ORi�AINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That the said territory hereinabove described be , and the same is hereby , annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a p13t of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
