N0. �13� AUG 2 8836 593 MICROFILNfi�°'��'" B°°k --P°a'....�.-" AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE �""""-� �� ' � C I TY OF DECATUR, I LL INOI S F,,,7_� •��Cg R�order of Deeds WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of LOUIE W. 0'DELL AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as : Lot 25 of Crest Haven Addition of Outlots, as per Plat recorded in Book 300 , page 228 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois , and all parts of all public highways included therein, or next and adjacent thereto, if any, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of �aecatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
