- � ' � 1VIICROf ILMED <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ���' <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, on the 5th day of August, 1976 , after notice as required by <br /> law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing <br /> upon the petition of THOMAS E. SWARTZ and J. WILLIAM MAVIS to rezone pre- <br /> mises described as : <br /> A part of the NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 3 in T16N, R2E, of 3rd <br /> P.M. described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the <br /> Southeasterly right of way line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad <br /> and the East line of the NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said Section 3; <br /> thence South 376 . 0 feet along the East line of the NW 1/4 of SW <br /> 1/4 of said Section 3; thence West at right angles to the East <br /> line of the NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said Section 3 to the easterly <br /> right of way line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad; thence <br /> North and Northeasterly along the said Easterly right of way <br /> line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad to the point of beginning. <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT; and, <br /> WHEREAS , the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the <br /> prayer of said petition be granted. <br />', NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Com- <br /> mission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby, <br /> rezoned from SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING <br /> DISTRICT. <br /> Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are those dis- <br /> tricts set forth and defined in Ordinance No. 3512 of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, and all the provisions, <br /> regulations , restrictions and requirements therein set forth shall apply <br /> to the premises above described herein. <br /> Section 4 . That the zoning of said premises as set out herein shall <br /> be shown and verified on the District Zoning Map as in such Ordinance <br /> No. 3512 provided and said Districts be, and they are hereby, amended and <br /> changed as herein set forth. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED & RECORDED this 23rd day of August, 1976. <br /> , / � <br /> ATTEST: MA OR <br /> CITY LERK <br />
