� '"� �I1ICROFJIME� <br /> r.�_ t„ <br /> .� -� � . <br /> ` i <br /> T � ORDINANCE NO. `�I� I <br /> AN ORDINANCE MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY <br /> FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR FOR THE FISCAL <br /> YEAR 1976-1977 <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois , did, on <br /> the 12th day of July, 1976 , pass the annual appropriation ordinance <br /> for the City of Decatur, for the fiscal year beginning with the lst <br /> day of May, 1976 , and ending on the 30th day of April, 1977, in the <br /> aggregate sum of Twenty-Four Million Six Hundred Thirteen Thousand <br /> Six Hundred Thirty-Four pollars ($24 ,613 ,634 . 00) , which said ordinance <br /> was approved on the 12th day of July, 1976 , and published on the 13th <br /> day of July, 1976, the objects and purposes for which the several <br /> appropriations were made being shown by a copy of said Annual Appro- <br /> priation Ordinance hereto attached and made a part hereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l. That there is hereby levied upon all the taxable <br /> property within the corporate limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> as the same is taxed and equalized for State and County purposes for <br /> the fiscal year beginning with the lst day of May, 1976 , and ending on <br /> the 30th day of April, 1977, the sum of Two Million Seven Hundred <br /> Sixty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Dollars ($2 , 764 ,530. 00) , the <br /> objects and purposes for which said sum is hereby levied and is <br /> apportioned among the several objects and purposes herein specified <br /> as follows : <br /> For the Maintenance of Public Library <br /> Reading Rooms to be known as the <br /> Library Fund $ 803,000 . 00 <br /> For Police Pensions, as required by law $ 457,284 . 00 <br /> For Firemen' s Pensions, as required by law $ 674 ,246. 00 <br />
