MfCROF�LMED <br /> ORDINANCE N0. � C �" �`� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giv- <br /> ing notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on North Church <br /> Street approaching Johnson Avenue from either direction shall <br /> stop and yield the right of way to vehicles on Johnson Avenue <br /> which have entered the intersection of said streets or which <br /> are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an <br /> immediate hazard, but said driver having so stopped and yielded <br /> the right of way may proceed at such time as a safe interval <br /> occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance sha11, upon <br /> conviction,be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3.
