. . _5_ <br /> one or rnore o£ the criteria contained in subsections (c) (1) through <br /> (c) (12) hereof, inform the advisory staff and secure their recommendation <br /> as to the relationship of tlie proposed designation to the comprehensive <br /> plan of the City or the County, their opinion as to the effect of the <br /> proposed designation upon the surrounding neighborhood, and their opinion <br /> and r�commendations as to any other planning considerations with their <br /> �ecom�mendation of approval, rejection or modification af the proposed <br /> ci�signation. Said reco:r,menda'.�ion shall become part of the off.icial <br /> record concerning the proposed designation and shall be submitted by <br /> the Co:nmission along with its recommendations concerning the proposed <br /> designation. The Commission may make such modifications, changes and <br /> alterations concerning the proposed designation as it deems necessary <br /> in considerai�ion of the recommendation of a�visory staff. <br /> (e) To make recommendations to the City Council and County <br /> Boarci, the Decatur Planning Commission, N�acon County Regional Plan <br /> Commission, civic, fraternal, patriotic , and oth.er organizations and <br /> the State of Illinois concerning the rediscovery, identifying and <br /> maintenance of sites of historical or architecture importance in the <br /> City and Coun�ty that may heretofore have been ignored. <br /> (f) To develop and recommend improved requlations for the <br /> maintena.nce of the area surrounding historical monuments and sites <br /> for the greater convenience of the visiting public . <br /> (g) To make recommendations for the design and implementation <br /> of specific marking of the streets and routes leading from one historical <br /> and architectural monument or site to another. <br /> (h) To coordinate activities of all civic , patriotic, <br /> fraternal, and other organizations of the community in improving <br />
