C lC' <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS j <br /> WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of LEROY FERRE and <br /> others requesting that premises described as : <br /> Lots 7 and 8 of the New Country Club Place, as <br /> per Plat recorded in Book 683, page 308 of the <br /> Records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon County, <br /> Illinois; <br /> Also, all parts of public highways lying next and <br /> adjacent thereto; <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is <br /> signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above <br /> described property and by all of the electors residing therein; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, <br /> Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation <br /> of said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section l . That the said territory hereinabove described <br /> be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated <br /> into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal <br /> corporation. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3 .
