WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, IIlinois, the sworn petition of JERRY E. DAVIS AND OaiERS requesting that premises described ass Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 44 and 45 of Moses A. Nickey's Shore Acres Addit�on, as per Plat xe- � corded in Book 300, page 88 of the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon Caunty, Illinois; Also, all parts of public highways lying next and adjacent thexeto; x o h Ci of Decatur Illinois• and be anne ed t t e ty , , , W�REAS, it is shawn by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the oraners af reaord of premises in said above de- scribed propertq and by all of the elec�ors residing therein; and, 4�iEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, I1linois, and is not a part ef any City, Village, Incorporated Town or ather Municipality; and, WHERFAS, notice of intention ta take action on anne xation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NDW� THEREFORE� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CC]IJNCIL OF 1HE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, �nnexed to and is here by, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal carpora- tion. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with �he County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deed� of Macon Oounty, I1linois.
