/ <br /> M <br /> �_ " ` ' ��r�l�["I� P��V <br /> �'�e�'v�:..a <br /> 1 i�.�'.�i;. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. � v�� <br /> AN ORDINANCE �KING SUPPLEMENfAL APPROPRIATIONS <br /> FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COI�IENCING MAY 1, 1974, AND <br /> ENDING APRIL 30, 1975. <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption by this Council on the 29th <br /> day of July, 1974, of the Annual Appropriation Ordinance, being Ordi- <br /> nance No. 5966, for the fiscal year May 1, 1974, through April 30, <br />, I975, certain additional revenue not available when said ordinance was <br /> ado ted and not then antici ated has become and been made available• <br /> P P � <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the aggregate of the additional revenue available or es- <br /> timated to be received subsequent to the adoption of said Annual Appro- <br /> priation Ordinance as aioresaid is in excess of the total amount her ein- <br /> after appropriated as provided by Illinois Revised Statutes 1973, Chapter <br /> 24, Section 8-2-9; and, <br /> WI-�REAS, said additional revenue is made available from the United <br /> States of America acting by and through the Department of Labor thereof <br /> pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of the Comprehensive <br /> Employment and Trai.ning Act and the Social Security �1ct for the uses and <br /> purposes in said Acts specified; and, <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been granted to The City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> for the object and purpose aforesaid to be administered by the City for <br /> said objects ana purposes and it is necessary that appropriations be made <br /> so that said funds may be e�ended in the course of such administration <br /> by said City for said objects and puYposes; and, <br /> �VI-IEREAS, the funds hereinafter appropriated arise fram sources of <br /> revenue other than general property taxes. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the following sums be, and they are hereby, appro- <br /> priated from revenues other than general property taxes, for the objects <br /> and purposes aforesaid by the City of Decatur, Illinois, for the fiscal <br /> year 1974-1975, beginning May 1, 1974, and ending April 30, 1975, said sums <br /> to be provided for from the grants he re in referred to: <br /> APPROPRIATIONS IN ADDITION TO APPROPF;IATIUNS <br /> HERETOFORE MADE FOR SPECIAL FUNDS: <br /> COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TR�IINING <br /> ACT (CETA) FUND <br /> Salaries $ 8,285 <br /> Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund 600 <br /> Workmen's Compensation Insurance 100 <br /> Group Hospitalization and Medical Insurance 200 <br /> Group Lii'e Insurance 50 <br /> Printing 25 <br /> Physical Examinations 100 <br /> Protective Clothing and Equipment 100 <br /> Office S�zpplies SO <br /> Transfer for Administrative and Supervisory <br /> Services 650 <br /> Decatur Park District 1,630 <br /> Decatur Hou sing Authority 405 <br /> Sanitary District of Decatur 805 <br /> $13,000 <br />
