BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THF_ CITY OF DECATUR� ILLINOIS: � Section 1. That the Regular Municipal Primary Election to be held pursuant to law, be, and the same is hereby, called to be held ; in and for the City of Decatur, County of Macon, and State of Illinois, ' on the 25th day of February, 1975, for the purpose of nominating the following, to-wit: Tw�o for the office of Mayor of said City; and I Six for the office of Councilman of said City. Section 2. That the legal voters of said City shall vote in the respective election precincts as now established in which they resa.de, at the polling place shown for the particular election precinct as set out in the list hereto attached and ma de a part hereof and markecl "List aE Polling Places and Addresses Thereof. " Section 3. That the City Clerk cause to be published in a newspaper at the time requized by law, notice of the time and pla ce of said Regular Municipal Primazy Election ana the officers to be nominated. Section 4. That said Clerk be, and she is hereby, instructed to have printed proper ballots for said election and dzstribute the same to the Judges thereof in the time and manner required by law, and to have prepared and to furnish to such Judges sample ballots, together with instructions for the guidance of voters in each of said election precincts, as required by law, and to cause to be published a sample ballot prior to the day of election in a newspaper of general circu- lation in the City, and to do all othe r acts and things in regard to said Regular Municipal Primary Election require�l of her by the la ws of the State of Illinois relating thereto. Section 5. That said election shall be conducted in accordance with the applicable provisions of statute which authorize the use of and prescrihe the method and manner for the use of an electronic voting system, and said Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized ana directed to pxovide such supplies, equipment and necessary materials and i.nstruc- tions and directions to cause said election to be conducted.
