. / . -.;, . ,., • '� � rr,c��nrga �.°�� ,' ORDINANCE NO. ��P AN ORDINANCfi ANNEXING TfiRRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOZS V�iEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sw�orn petition of DECATUR EAST PLAZA, INC., request- ing that premises described as: Beginning 30 feet North and 205 feet West of theSoutheast cor- ner of the Northvnest Quarte� of the Saathwest Quarter of Sec- tion 20, Township 16 North, Range 3 Ea�t of the 3rd P.M. ; thence North 248 feet to a point; thence North 72 degrees 20 seconds West, 1,069.7 feet to a pcint; thence South 87 degrees 18 seconds West a distance of 91.9 feet to a point; thence Southwesterly 24.9 feet to a point; adiich point is 17.5 feet East and 630.45 feet North of the Southwest corner of the NW'�4 of the SW14 of said Section 20; thence South parallel with the West line of the NW14 of the S� of said Section 20, a distance of 398.95 feet; thence East 90 feet to a point; thence South 201.5 feet to a point; thence fiast parallel with the South line of the NW14 of the SW'�4 of said Secti� 20, a dis- tance of 1009.85 feet to the point of beginning; also all parts of public highv�y� lying next and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatnr, Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by aff3davit that said petition is signed by all of the o�mers of record of premises in said above described property and that there are no electors residing therein; and WI�REAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and 4�iERE,AS, notice of intention to tak�r action on annexation of the said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORB� BS IT ORDAINED BY THE �UNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR� ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereina�bove descYibed be, and the sa�e is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorpoxated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a ffiunic ipal corporation. Sectioa 2. That a plat of said annexed pYemises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordi- nance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recor- der of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
