Recorder /� ' j j T0: THE TRUSTEES OF HARRISTOWN FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT MACON COUNTY, II�LINOIS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on or after the tenth day from the date this notice is deposited in the United States Mail as service upon the Trustees of the Fire Protection District wherein the below described premises are situated, the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, will take action with regard to the annexa- tion to the City of premises situated in the County of Macon, Illinois, described as: PARCEL "A" - Beginning 18.66 chains North of the Southeast corner of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian; thence South 3.48 chains; thence West 8.75 chains; thence North 5.662 chains; thence Southeasterly 9.05 chains to the place of beginning; and , Also, a strip of land 115 feet in width off the North end of all that part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 7 that lies South of and adjoining the right of way of the Wabash Railroad and extends from the North-South centerline of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 7 Westerly for a distance of 597.3 feet; and PARCEL "B" - Beginning at a point 576.7 feet North of the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian; thence North 660 feet to the South line of the right of way of' the Illinois Traction Company's Interurban Railway; thence Southeasterly along said right of way line 374.2 feet; thence South 554 feet; thence West 358.8 feet to the place of begin- ning; EXCEPT 1.91 acres, more or less, conveyed to the State of I1linois for highway purposes by instrument dated May 3, 1957, and recorded in Book 1278 on Page 293 as Document No. 646023 in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, 'Zllinois; and PARCEL "C" - A strip of land 822 feet in width off the entire North side of all that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Sec- tion 7, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian that lies South of the right of way of the Wabash Railroad, and Also, Beginning at a point 82.5 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 7; thence South 33 feet; thence Easterly to a point 82.5 feet South of the intersection of the East line of said Quarter Quarter Section with the South line of the Wabash Railroad; thence Northwesterly to the place of beginning; and Also, a strip of land 10 feet wide Northerly and Southerly and 703.5 feet long Easterly and Westerly, and lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly right of way line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad Company in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 7; the West line of said strip being on the West line of said Quarter Quarter Section, and the Northwest corner of said strip being 1415.9 feet South of a stone at the Northwest corner of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 7, said PARCEL "C" containing 3.25 acres, more or less; All as shawn on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference;
