.� � , / � , ��. . .ot�_„ �9 ..; ..- •` w�°` ORDINANCfi NO. � .< rr,` AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY T'O THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS 4d�REAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sw�rn petition of CARL THACKER AND OTHERS, requesting that premises described as: Lots 11 and 12 of North Side Addition to the City of Decatur, Illinois, as per P lat recorded in Book 335, Page 182 of the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois; also all parts of public high- ways lying ne�h and adjacent ther¢to; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, Wt�REAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition i� signed by all of the ow�rs of record of premises in said above de- scribed property and by a11 of the electors Yesiding therein; and, 4d�RfiAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any Citq, Village, IncorpoYated Town, or other Municipality; and, �REAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of the said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW� THEREFORS� BE IT ORDAINSD BY THE COUNCIL OF TI-� CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOISz Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal co�poration. Section 2. That a plat of said anne xed premises is attache d hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copie� of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
