. . . . . , � � , - i1 - <br /> • .; . <br /> and also Special Counsel for the City of Decatur, be and they are hereby authorized <br /> and directed to file a petition in the Circuit Court of Macon County, Illinois, in the <br /> name of the City of Decatur, Illinois, praying that steps may be taken to ascertain <br /> the compensation to be made for private property to be taken or damaged for such <br /> improvement and for the purposes specified in this Ordinance, and to ascertain what <br /> property will be benefited by such improvement and the amount of such benefits to be <br /> levied for such improvement in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance and in <br /> the manner prescribed by law, <br /> SECTION 17. <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that for the purpose of anticipating the collection <br /> of the second and succeeding installments of said Special Assessment for said improvement, <br /> the said City of Decatur, Illinois, shall issue vouchers and/or bonds, payable out of said <br /> installments, bearing interest at the rate of 6°Jo per annum, payable when collected, <br /> and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City, under the C�rporate Seal of the <br /> said City of Decatur, Illinois; said vouchers and/or bonds to be issued in accardance <br />� with and shall in all respects conform to the provisions of Article 9 of the AcE above <br /> referred to. <br /> SECTION 18. <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the cost of said improvement, including <br /> costs for planning, construction, supervision, court costs, attorneyst fees and the <br /> cost of spreading the assessment, be assessed upon the property benefited as provided <br /> by law, and that the estimate of the cost of said improvement, certified over the <br /> signature of the President of the Board of Local Improvements, as presented to <br /> and approved by the Board of Local Improvements, is attached hereto. <br /> 5��TI�I�T ln. <br /> This Ordinanc e shall be published in full, omitting the detailed plans <br /> and specifications, at least ten days prior to final p�,ssage and approval. <br />
